The safety and well-being of our members, staff, volunteers, and community, are our top priority. We are monitoring the ongoing spread and development of COVID-19 (coronavirus) and its potential impact on our credit union. During this time, we want to assure you that we are taking every measure to continue services while keeping our staff and the community healthy.

We are following interim guidance from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Here is a look at how we are working to help prevent exposure at our branches:

Annual Meeting Cancelled:

  • In compliance with the Anchorage ban of community events with 50 or more attendees and, as recommended by the CDC, community events of more than 50 attendees should be canceled/postponed, including our Annual Meeting scheduled for March 18th. A copy of the Annual Report will be made available online shortly.

Additional Safety Precautions:

  • While our branches are cleaned daily, we have augmented our procedures to include disinfecting teller stations more regularly, and that common use areas in the lobby are continually being cleaned.
  • We will ensure that employees follow the recommended practices of the CDC to stop the spread of germs in the workplace.
  • We highly encourage the use of remote services such as online banking, mobile app, and other electronic services, including the use of remote deposit and e-signed loan documents. Get registered today to view transactions, check balances, make payments, deposits, and more.

We'd like to reiterate our commitment to our membership. We are working hard to ensure that your banking experience is safe and comfortable. We will continue to monitor the situation and will update you with credit union news as things change.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this difficult situation together. We understand the financial challenges that our members and the community may face during this time. We'll make every effort to be adaptable and flexible to the needs of our membership and those affected in the community. If you have any questions or concerns, we encourage you to call us at (907) 561 1407 or visit www.nsfcu.org for general updates.
